These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

It's been a while since I last blogged but with 3 days left of school, I'll officially be on summer break!  I can't believe another school year has gone by.  This marks the end of my third year of teaching and it's been quite an adventure!  As I mentioned in my previous post, every year I've been blessed with a job in the midst of budget cuts and I'm so incredibly thankful for everyone's prayers, support, and encouragement. Although my teaching situation is unknown as of right now, I'm hopeful God will open doors for me whether it's through teaching or event planning :)


On to a lighter note, I don't know why but I've been obsessed with all things burlap and pennants!  I just love the different combinations of these design elements.  Burlap adds a perfect amount of rustic appeal that can be tied with soft or bright colored accents.  


Below are some lovely finds that can be a wonderful addition to weddings and baby showers!  I am currently designing my friend's upcoming baby shower next month and you will definitely see some of these wonderfully sweet and rustic elements incorporated in her butterfly inspired baby shower (more to come later)!
